I'm Skylar, ever the optimist, top bread in the sibling sandwich, aficionado of Disney movies. My passion is creativity and I work in a day spa where I LOVE practicing nail art! It is no surprise that neon is coming in full force this summer. I was a bit hesitant at first to jump on this trend (maybe I’ll love it so much I’ll have revert to my 80s three-sets-of-neon-scrunch-socks days) but as soon as I tried on a neon tank I couldn’t help but love it. There’s just no way you can’t be happy when you’re sporting bright colors. I did Rainbow Dash nails - her eye, hair, wing, cutie mark, and more of her rainbow hair. These were a fun challenge for me. My favorite nail is her eye on my thumb!

black and lips! i was incredibly happy to find this picture, because i’ve tried painting lips onto nails before- using acrylic paint. and it’s difficult. but i hope after having seen this picture i have a better idea of how to accomplish it now!
